Responsabilities

A private household in Gstaad is looking for a highly skilled Housekeeper / House Manager to maintain the highest standards of housekeeping and laundry while overseeing general household operations. The role requires flexibility, especially when the client is present, with additional staff hired during their stay.

The ideal candidate will have strong housekeeping expertise, experience in laundry care, and basic household management skills. Knowledge of the Gstaad area and a valid driver’s license are essential.

Housekeeping & Laundry:
  • Perform high-standard cleaning and organization of the chalet.
  • Handle delicate fabrics, fine linens, and luxury garments with care.
  • Ensure all rooms are immaculately maintained and guest-ready.
  • Manage household supplies and inventory.
Household Management :
  • Oversee household operations and coordinate with external vendors.
  • Assist with household planning and organization when the client is in residence.
  • Supervise and work alongside additional staff during peak periods.
Flexibility & Availability:
  • Adjust work hours based on the client’s schedule and presence.
  • Available for occasional additional tasks when the family is in the chalet.

You

  • Proven experience in high-end housekeeping (house management experience is a plus).
  • Fluency in at least one language: English, French, or Russian.
  • Valid driver’s license and knowledge of the Gstaad area.
  • Ability to work independently and with discretion.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the family's needs and schedules.
